Alabama High School Advanced and Standard Diploma options The mission of Spring Garden High School is to prepare all students to be productive, responsible members of society and lifelong learners by equipping them with a strong academic foundation, efficient work habits, critical thinking skills, desirable health habits, and an appreciation for life. Grades K through 12 on the same campus Enrollment: 640 Member of the PACERS Small Schoool Cooperative of the University of Alabama's Program for Rural Service and Research Campus includes a main classroom building, vocational building, cafeteria, five new classrooms, newly renovated science lab, two gymnasiums, football stadium, baseball/softball field, tennis courts, pavilion, playground, and plans for expansion Head Start program on campus for preschoolers Multimedia computer lab Multimedia computers in every classroom Media Center with computer, periodicals, reference materials, and approximately 8,000 books Dual enrollment opportunities available with Jacksonville State University/Gadsden State Community College Courses offered through the Alabama Online High School Strong community support Spring Garden High School Community Support Trust Fund has assets of over 200,000 to help provide for the needs of our school Variety of clubs including active FFA and FCCLA chapters, National Beta Club, Student Council Association, 4H club, ans Fellowship of Christian Students Cooperative work program opportunities with the Anniston Army Depot Elementary School choir with over 50 members Varsity and Junior High Athletics: Basketball, Football, Softball, Baseball, Volleyball State Champions: Girls Basketball 1987, 2004, 2005 |
