Philosophy of Education:
"I chose elementary education as a profession because I always knew that I would enjoy working with young children. I don't know if teaching is a lot different now than when I was in school. I think that some of the problems that we face today were there. I just didn't always know about them. In my opinion, the term education applies to more than just book learning. As educators, we not only need to teach children reading, writing, and arithmetic, but we are responsible for a great deal of the children's social and moral learning as well. I am very glad that I chose education as a profession, and I hope that I can be positive influence on some of the young children that I teach." |
