Philosophy of Education:
"I chose to become a teacher because I wanted to make a difference in a child's life. I have always had a good rapport with children and that helps out a lot. School is different today because times have changed since I was in school. We were taught to respect our teachers and many students today do not respect teachers, and that is sad. Education has so much more to offer now. Technology has made such improvements. Education means to teach the whole child. Sometimes you need to find out what is going on with a student on a personal level because they have bad days too. A teacher does a lot more than teach. Sometimes a teacher just needs to listen. I definitely think my definition of education is applied in school today. We have a lot of excellent teachers that go the distance for their students. "
