Cherokee County Board of Education's Career Quest Program is a true alternative education program. The purpose of this program is to provide educational solutions for students who have been less than successful in attaining the skills necessary to achieve Alabama's required educational standards. The program will offer an alternative to traditional classroom instruction in order to enhance each participant's chance of passing the AHSGE and graduating form high school with the academic and career/technical skills necessary to be functional and productive citizens.

In order to be enrolled in Career Quest, the student and their parent/guardian must agree to abide by the Career Quest Student/Parent Contract. Students must fill out an application and be approved by the Career Quest Committee before admittance. Students and/or parents can request application forms from any Cherokee County school counselor.
