In the Carpentry Education class, students obtain entry level skills for the carpentry job market and good work ethics. They learn to build utility buildings, student projects, and some remodeling. The student projects include tables, chairs, cabinets, and other assorted items.

Students begin the class with in-class work, going over safety and tool use, among many other things. Then they hit the workshops to begin the "hands-on" portion of the class, where they build their projects.
