Student Organizations















Career Technical Education offers student organizations that will enhance classroom and shop learning. These organizations allow students opportunities to participate in Regional and State Competitions, professional workshops, conferences and can open doors to career opportunities.


  • FBLA
    Future Business Leaders of America strive to "use my abilities to make the world a better place for everyone."
    FBLA members attend monthly meetings to discuss good business techniques and information needed in the workforce. Competitions are held throughout the year also.

  • Skills USA
    Skills USA includes Cosmetology, Welding, Collision Repair, and Automotive classes.
    These organizations strive to build leadership skills and good work habits that will be carried with them to the workplace.
    Competitions for these clubs are held on local, district, state, and national levels-students have reached each of these levels.
  • HOSA
    HOSA members are encouraged to build good leadership skills, responsibility, and positive work ethics.
    HOSA meetings are held monthly, along with various volunteer work. American Red Cross Blood Drive, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, American Cancer Society, Operation Santa Claus, Cherokee County Baptist Medical Center, Cherokee Nursing Home, and Cherokee County Adult Training Center are all associations that HOSA helps with volunteering.

  • FCCLA
    FCCLA promotes family strength, personal development, and a greater understanding between youth and adults.
    The members of FCCLA have done community service projects such as giving gifts to the headstart children during the holiday season. They have also worked on the STOP the Violence Project.
