My name is Adrea Tevaga and I am the School Social Worker and Parent Engagement Coordinator for Cherokee County Schools. I have a passion for supporting students’ emotional and social well-being and am committed to working with children, adolescents, and families in educational and community settings.
I hold a Master of Social Work degree from Jacksonville State University and I am focused on helping students overcome barriers to academic success, whether through individual connections, group support, or connecting families with resources in the community. I believe in a holistic approach that integrates students’ mental health with their academic and social development.
In addition to providing direct support to students, I collaborate with teachers and administrators to develop programs that foster a positive school climate, offer professional development on trauma-informed care, and serve as a liaison between the school and local agencies.
